Turin DF83 V3 Single Dose Coffee Grinder With DLC Burrs
The DF83 V3 combines large DLC (Diamond-Like-Coating) 83mm burrs with a powerful 550W motor and a plasma generator to deliver consistency, minimum clumping and a fluffy grind. The burr chamber was designed so that it produces very low retention, even without the use of the bellow. It also features a wave spring washer which makes the top burr carrier alignment much easier when opening the grinder to clean the burrs.
We were so impressed with the results and quality of the DLC (Diamond-Like-Coating) burrs that we decided to include them with every DF83 that we sell. The DLC burrs last and stay sharp up to 10x longer than standard stainless steel burrs and the finish also has non stick properties that reduce retention. The cutting pattern on these burrs has also been optimized for maximum consistency across the full range.
The DF83 was designed with espresso in mind, but it is also very capable in the pour-over range. The extremely low retention (ELR), compact size and stepless adjustment make it a perfect grinder for any home and light commercial setup.
