The New Casabar PID is a compact 58mm semi-professional espresso machine equipped with a steel frame, single brass boiler, cool touch steam wand and a PID system for perfect temperature regulation. Features:
- PID Temperature Control: The PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) controller allows the user to precisely adjust the brew or steam temperature and improve temperature stability. It also doubles as a shot timer while brewing.
- Single Brass Boiler: PID controlled brass boiler with a 300ml capacity amd 1200W element for increased steam pressure and improved durability.
- No Burn Steam Wand: The steam wand is insulated so that it can be manipulated without the risk or burning your fingers. Milk also doesn't stick to insulated steam wands as much as regular ones.
- Commercial Portafilter: The 58 mm chrome-plated brass portafilter is the most common portafilter size.
- 3 Way Solenoid Valve: The three-way solenoid valve relieves the pressure in the portafilter immediately after pulling a shot. This leaves the coffee puck dry, making it easy to clean and pull the next shot.
- Brew Pressure Gauge: The brew pressure gauge displays brew pressure during extraction allowing the user to get immediate feedback on how to adjust grind coarseness, dosage or tamp pressure for a perfect shot of espresso.
